It's 100% free to sign up and start creating e-labels and QR codes to send to your label designer. The great thing about PinotQR is that your first 3 e-labels are free – you can create up to 3 QR codes ready to send to your label designer without needing a paid plan.
E-labels
An 'electronic label'. Instead of needing to print ingredient and nutritional information on your wine bottle, you can have this information stored digitally and accessible as a webpage.
QR codes
A 'quick response code' is a square barcode that you add to your bottle's back label. Anyone in the world with a phone can then open up the camera app of their phone, point the camera at the QR code and it'll come up as a link to your e-label to view the nutritional information.

Our plans are based on your total number of e-labels you need across all your vintages, not just each year.
So, let's say you're going to sell 3 new wines each year to Europe...
2024
You release 3 new wines to sell in Europe so you'll need 3-e-labels. This is covered absolutely free under our 3 free plan plan.
2025
In 2025 you release another 3 new wines of a new vintage, plus you have the existing 3 wines from 2024. That's 6 e-labels so you'll upgrade to the 10 e-label plan.

When looking at competitors, be sure to check their fine-print as even though they may look cheaper, they are often a lot more expensive in the long run. With us, once you hit 50 labels you are on an unlimited plan and will never pay more than 149 euro!
Our plans are for the total number of e-labels you need across any number of brands.
As an example, if you have 3 brands with 3 labels each, you would be on the 10 e-label plan (9 labels in total).
Remember you can add and manage all your brands in the one place, and bill under the one account. If you'd prefer, you can also create different accounts for each of your brands to be billed and managed separately if you'd prefer.
Yes. PinotQR is built to handle an unlimited number of e-labels and QR codes, as well as unlimited brands - so if you manage multiple brands you can do so all from the one account.
Yes, you can create as many QR codes as you need with just the name, vintage and variety for each wine to send to your printer.
You can then come back and and add the ingredients and nutritional information at a later date. You can also modify information if you need to anytime, and being digital you don't have to re-print anything!
Yes. We have meticulously checked the documentation so that you don't have to. We are also regularly checking for updates and are able to adjust our platform as the legislation evolves - a perk of a digital vs printed solution.
No. This is a common misconception, however the regulation states that any marketing material present on the e-label, or linking from it violates No. Article 119(5) of the amended CMO Regulation. Combined with the fact that most commercial websites have some level of tracking, this would further breach the restriction on tracking user data. It's best to view e-labels purely as an informational tool used clarify ingredients making up a wine and leave it at that.
